Message Im not sure about other states, but you can fight that and win here in CA. The officer is required (by law) to write EVERTHING down exactly as appears on your DL and right the correct vehicle etc. There is a vehicle code stating that but I cant remember which one. It shouldnt be hard to find by search. I have done alot of research for my own FYI and because I was going to fight a ticket; (I even bought a book on fighting tickets)... when I got to court they had no record of the ticket. Hav'nt heard anything since. Anyway, to fight it worst case scenario is you have to still pay the bale(fine) amount then plead not guilty and come back for a couple more court days. Best case scenario is if go prepared the day of court and site the vehicle code that the officer did not follow and the case will be dismissed..

Hope this helps

:Can I get away with this ticket?
:What are my chances?
:Have anyone done this?
:He wrote my car as Nissan 2000.
:I don't think he has a radar in his non-marking truck. He knew I was speeding because I passed him.
